I initially became a Fitness Instructor for personal and family fitness while I spent years climbing the corporate ladder, juggling children, work, travel and long hours. My fitness helped to keep my body in check, supported my mental health and provided me with the ability to deal with any challenges that came my way. However, as I got older and my body changed it proved harder to maintain the same levels of energy and fitness through exercise alone. I attended the Institute of Health Science to obtain a research-based qualification in Nutrition. This truly opened my eyes and became the catalyst for a change in career direction and focus. I am now in my early 50s and have more energy than I ever did. My body is lean, fit and healthy and I feel fabulous. It’s never too late.
