I generally use carrots, cucumber, celery or peppers. My favourite is the happy pear beet hummus. Or make your own:

  • 400g canned rinsed chickpeas
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika (I used smoked paprika sometimes)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tbsp water (add more if too thick) 
  • 1 tbsp tahini (sesame seed paste)


Wizz it all together in the blender/nutribullet.
